A Quick Intro (and the @AgTech Diary YouTube Channel)
I started my online journey right after high-school in the early 2000’s on Blogger.com (since acquired by Google, and nowadays somewhat outdated) with a very casual design blog, then a travel blog, then photography. I managed to see 10-12K visits a month purely sharing what I enjoyed. It was like the days of Tumblr, but with writing and journaling baked in.
After that season of my online life I went on to manage a blog for someone, posting every single day. That went on to attract 100’s of thousands of visits. All of those projects taught me what was possible, even when starting from scratch. Even without the goal of optimal SEO, attracting an audience, and a framework for monetisation, they grew and grew, over time.
Since then I’ve transitioned from my old portfolio website built on Squarespace (since archived) and I’ve now transitioned over to Substack, back to the blog format I grew to love decades ago.
Where am I going with this?
Well, you see this is my new project.

Besides the blog you see before you, I’ve created a YouTube channel as well to help you learn more about how drone-based and mobile-based technologies are revolutionising the agricultural space.
The channel is in its infancy (just saying) and most of my energy will be spent on fleshing out the content on the AgTech Diaries blog, for at least a year, before I spend significant time and energy on video content.
So for now… it’s currently (and simply) a place online for me to share a few personal edits from my time out in the field with clients and colleagues - like this one.
